Martin Bell BSc FCII

Martin is the Managing Director of UK Special Risks and with over 25 years of knowledge and experience he is a referral point for complex issues. His wealth of knowledge and expertise allows him to make recommendations on practically any class of Commercial Insurance. Martin specialises in cover for the Construction Industry particularly Specialist Sub-Contractors. He has a calm and personable manner and is always happy to advise and help.

Lesley Owen

Lesley is UK Special Risks Office Manager and Schemes Underwriter. Lesley has been with UK Special Risks since October 2001 where she started as a Schemes Underwriter. In addition to this Lesley is also the Office Manager and is responsible for the smooth running of the office on a day to day basis. She has excellent interpersonal skills and always applies a pragmatic and solutions based approach to her work. Lesley has an expert working knowledge of our Dental Laboratory and Memorial Mason (including Headstone) products and would be delighted to advise and recommend on these covers.

Tim Eastwood

Tim joined UK Special Risks in 2008, He has brought with him over 25 years of technical and working knowledge. Tim is professional, well organised and methodical in his work. His specialist areas of industry knowledge are the Security Industry, Nightclub and Licensed Trade and Electrical Contracting, but his vast knowledge of Insurance allows him to advise and recommend on practically any class of Commercial Insurance for all industries.

Matthew Sendall-King

Matt joined UK Special Risks in 2004, prior to joining us Matt was a Branch Manager for a National Broker. In his time with us he has developed and learnt at a phenomenal pace to become a core member of the team. His innovative and enthusiastic approach is refreshing and easy to deal with for clients. Matt has an expert working knowledge of our Cleaning, Electrical and Kitchen and Bathroom Industry schemes as well as managing many of our key clients at renewal and throughout the lives of their policies. Andy Chibeba (BA Hons) Dip CII

Andy has been with UK Special Risks since 2006 and in this time has become an integral part of our team. His primary responsibility is to attract and develop new clients through advice, recommendation and quotes as well as pushing Sales and Marketing Initiatives. In his time at UK Special Risks he has obtained his Diploma in Insurance (CII Qualification) and earned a Highly Commended at the BIBA Young Broker of The Year Awards 2009. Andy is driven and enthusiastic with a specialism in our Electrical Contractors and Cleaning Contractors Scheme products. His forte is putting forward tailored packages of cover whilst providing the most competitive quotation at the same time.

Daniel Lander

Daniel is the latest addition to our growing team. A graduate trainee he is comfortable when advising whilst still developing his knowledge, his eagerness to help and solve queries is refreshing. Karen Samways

Karen joined UK Special Risks in 2008 and with a strong sales background matched with a keen attention to detail she is both reliable and diligent. She has developed as a Fleet Account Handler (administering fleet changes) as well as our in house Claims Manager. She has a strong knowledge of our Kitchen and Bathroom Industry scheme.
