The contractor is responsible for the works prior to handing over.

What
This is designed to provide " All Risks " cover on:

• Work in progress, materials on site or in temporary storage
• Loss or damage to your own plant and equipment
• Contractual responsibility for hired in plant and equipment including continuing hire charges
• A wide basis of cover subject to a limited number of terms, conditions and exclusions.

When
During the period of the contract prior to handing over.

Cost
The cost depends on:

• the turnover of the business
• maximum value any one contract
• value of own plant and equipment (present value reflecting age and condition of the item)
• hired in plant fees
